“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” — Galatians 6:9
There are moments in life when we feel tired, discouraged, and ready to quit. Whether it’s a personal struggle, a dream that seems unreachable, or a season of waiting that feels endless, the temptation to give up can be strong. But God calls us to persevere, to trust Him, and to keep going—even when it’s hard.
Galatians 6:9 reminds us that our faithfulness will bear fruit in due time. The enemy wants us to believe that our prayers don’t matter, that our efforts are wasted, and that we will never see victory. But God’s Word tells us otherwise. Every step of faith, every act of obedience, and every moment of endurance is leading us closer to His promises.
Even Jesus, in His hardest moments, pressed forward. Hebrews 12:2 encourages us to “fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith,” who endured the cross for the joy set before Him. If He didn’t give up on us, we can find strength in Him to keep moving forward.
How to Keep Going:
Remember why you started – God has a purpose for you, and He is faithful to complete it (Philippians 1:6).
Pray for strength – God renews those who wait on Him (Isaiah 40:31).
Hold onto His promises – His Word is a lamp to guide you (Psalm 119:105).
Surround yourself with encouragement – Community and godly friends help us stay strong (Hebrews 10:24-25).
Prayer:
Lord, I feel weary, but I know You are my strength. Help me to trust Your timing, to stand firm in faith, and to keep pressing forward. Remind me that You are with me, even in the hardest moments. I surrender my fears and doubts to You and choose to persevere. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
You may feel like giving up, but don’t. God is working in ways you cannot see, and your breakthrough is coming. Keep going—He is with you! 💪✨
